The Rack - Where Vampires are 'allowed' to Feed
The Shadowed Sun Nightclub, upper East SideDate: [12/10/25] -- Mid September
Location: The Shadowed Sun Nightclub
Player Characters Present: none (maybe Al, if he finishes his character?)
Open Spots: 3NPCs Present: the Shadowed Sun's owner is not present, but the manager is there, a ghoul who has connections to the Invictus, and Carthians both and is off limits by word of the Prince.
Current Scenario: The Shadowed Sun is the best place to be on the weekend in the upper east side. It brings in most of the university students, who get in free, and a large amount of locals looking to hook up with young, inebriated college co-eds. However, the Shadowed Sun is much more than that. It is owned by a shady vampire who has multiple properties across the USA, all nightclubs, all designated Racks. The Rack is a place designated by the leading vampire society to be safe to feed, so long as one doesn't make a mess.
The young vampires of Chicago come here when they need to feed quickly, or want something better than pig blood. The night is already busy, with the three story club nearly full. Vampires are always let in, no matter how full, and can enter and leave through a back entrance watched by cameras and a security guard. As long as no deaths occur, vampires are allowed to feed as they please.
On the top level is a quieter bar with live local bands playing from time to time where people, and kindred, can take a breather from the multiple dance floors to get a drink and relax. It is also a great meeting spot for young kindred. This is where the Crimson Dawn meet regularly, the massive coterie (vampire gang) of Carthian (anti establishment) vampires who have been hunted by the Prince. They have been getting money from someone to fund their building against the Prince, and the tension is thick. More than a dozen are here tonight, including their leader, Rosa, who has been giving small talks about their rightful place, their right to exist, and their right to speak despite what some dusty old racist has to say.

Opener: The night is still young, but the club is jumping. With four separate dance floors each with their own DJ mixing different styles of beats, there is always something to move to.
Drinks are cheap here, unless you want something fancier, and the VIP lounge is full of up and comers, both local mortals, as well as kindred.
The Crimson Dawn are wearing the colors, an arm band of red, and moving about the place to get a taste of their favorite clubbers, to enjoy the beat of the music, and to listen to the words of their leader, Rosa. She is a power unto herself, and her aura doesn't need Majesty or vampiric power, as her sheer charisma rolls off of her, pulling others into her orbit. A gangrel nomad, she came into the city with a handful of kindred in tow, and has quickly amassed a following that has unnerved the Prince himself.
Whispers say she is much older or stronger than she looks, and has backers from outside the city who wish to see her drag the entire court into the sun.
Tonight, something is happening. The Crimson Dawn is here, and they are many. They are preparing for something and others have noticed.

She is currently in the women's bathroom watching two half-dressed girls barely in their twenties doing lines of cocaine off the counter. Hidden in the shadows, she waits for them to be enough under the influence of the drug where they won't care about a random Japanese woman dressed as a Miko casually biting their necks and helping them to experience the pleasure of the Kiss.
She moves in behind the first woman, a tanned blonde wearing a bikini under fish nets, and gently touches her face, turning her head to expose her neck to the miko hungering for her blood. The coked-up woman barely registers Sawano's presence before the vampire has sunk her teeth into her neck, draining the vitae from her form. Any protest she might have made fades from her lips to be replaced with a moan of ecstasy. After only a short moment, Sawano feels the slowing heartbeat of her victim, and she pulls herself away, carefully lowering her to the ground and licking the wound away. She turns to her other victim, completely unaware of Sarah's presence in the room.
"Like, hey, girl, are you okay? We only did one line, and you're already crashing out? Do I like, need to drop you off at the ER?" Asks the Blue-haired girl wearing a skirt so short that sitting would turn it into a belt. She bends down to examine her friend, and that is when Sawano strikes, latching on to this second girl's neck. This time, she struggles to hold herself back: before, she had pulled herself away, for another meal was in arms' reach. This time... While blood comes easy, there is always a voice in the back of her head. What if she cannot obtain another source so easily?
Sarah manages to pull herself away, but this one... She might need medical attention to survive. She would have to notify the managers of this Rack. It is only proper etiquette to do so.

After notifying someone with basic jargon ,"trouble, hurt" and pointing, the EMT's on site get to the girls and rush one off to the hospital. The party stops for what feels like 10 long seconds, before going right back to it.
Everyone whispers disdainfully, "Gotta test your stuff. they'll narcan her and she'll be fine." "Amateur" "newb"
The whole experience seems to be a regular thing at this place.However, Sarah can tell some of the security are trying to keep an eye on her. They are at least trying to keep an eye on the out of the way areas. It will be slightly harder to feed again tonight, but not impossible.
